Back in the Autumn, we catered for a Liverpool wedding barbecue, cooking for dozens of guests.

THE EVENT – A BBQ wedding for a rustic barn celebration

BBQ catering is chosen for parties and weddings all year round. This event took place in late September, hosted in a rustic barn setting with a relaxed festival theme. Our couple had around 80 guests in attendance, and they wanted to create a relaxed atmosphere, choosing our BBQ package for their celebrations.

THE MENU – Planning the perfect wedding barbecue

While we have menu options to cover your whole day (including canape receptions, wedding breakfasts and grazing tables), our couple wanted a lamb spit roast and BBQ platters so that guests could build their own plates and have lots of variety. They opted for a traditional lamb roast package with sides and some delicious barbecue dishes. This included mixed vegetable and halloumi skewers, Tuscan-spiced chicken and butcher’s prime beef burgers.

THE RESULTS – An epic lamb spit roast and BBQ catering services

The wedding BBQ was a total hit, sprinkling magic and excitement over the festivities.

We chose salt marsh lamb for the ultimate flavour, studded with rosemary and garlic before slow-cooking the meat to perfection. The lamb was served in fresh bread rolls with our special dressing, crispy roast potatoes and a homemade slaw.

We also served the BBQ platters directly at tables, delighting guests of all ages. There were plenty of sides to keep everyone happy, including colourful salads and tangy sauces. Dessert was a chocolate and honeycomb cheesecake, selected from our famous menu.
